Becky's favourite pastime after sleeping is playing with her many toys including soft plastic balls, tennis balls, plush squeakies of lots of different types and assorted cloths and rags. She also still enjoys watching the hamsters (although their numbers are falling). But her favourite pastime is playing chase the ball in the garden where she takes great care in avoiding trees and bushes but still manages to tweak a muscle every now and then. Just like her brother Harry she really enjoys going to shows especially when she manages to get a better place than he does.

Confirmation, from the Kennel Club, of Becky's Show Certificate of Merit (ShCM) was received on 21 December 2007. The award was achieved with 16 Best of Breeds, 3 x Group 4, 1 x Group 3 and 2 x Group 2. The final points were won by a Group 2 placing at Otley & DCS Open show on 2nd December 2007.

Unfortunately, the confirmation came slightly (2 hours) late for it to be reflected in the catalogue for Cruft's Dog Show 2008. The entry form had literally just gone into the post    .............  Ho hum.

Becky attained her 50th first at open shows at the Sutton Coldfield show on 23rd February 2008, let's hope there's many more still to come !

When Ruby first arrived Becky's nose was put slightly out of joint as she was "mummy's little baby" but after a few months she's decided that Ruby is like a little sister and actually is quite nice. Now they have quite a good time playing together and the "little green eyed god" has been put away.

Becky has also proved to be a good companion to both Holly, while she was with us, and Ellie Mae. 

Since turning seven years old Becky has been shown in veteran classes but, like Harry, will also be seen in breed classes as well.
