Judging

Irene first began judging in 1984 with Bearded Collies and soon started to judge Rough Collies, Smooth Collies, OES, Shelties and Border Collies. She has also judged a number of breeds in the working group. In 1994 she  visited Zimbabwe where she awarded CC's in Border Collies, Bearded Collies and Shelties. Irene has judged at three Border Collie breed Open shows and awarded CC's (dogs) at the Midland Border Collie Club's Championship show on 1st February 2009. Mike, just like Irene, also began judging Beardies and has also judged Borders Collies, Rough Collies, Smooth Collies, Shetland Sheepdogs and Old English Sheepdogs. In the working group he has judged Lancashire Heelers, Bernese Mountain Dogs and German Shepherd Dogs. Mike has officiated at two Border Collie breed Open shows and had the privilege of judging bitches at the Southern Border Collie Club Championship show in April 2008.
